GoDaddy the latest cyber attack victim, with malware installed and source code stolen.
GoDaddy, the massive web hosting group boasting 21 million customers, has found itself at the centre of a multi-year breach that has affected customers in several ways leaving the following to be compromised…
- Email addresses
- WordPress Admin passwords
- sFTP
- Database credentials
- SSL private keys of a subset of active clients
Previous breaches as far back as November 2021, which saw 1.2 million WordPress passwords become compromised, have said to be related to the most recent breach.
As well as this malware was installed on to GoDaddy’s system’s along with source code being stolen.
